Crucial Vinyl: Barry White - Can't Get Enough

Each week Don selects a piece of Crucial Vinyl from his collection. He explains why the album means so much to him and picks three tracks from it.

This week it's Barry White's 1974 masterpiece Can't Get Enough. Don says,

"Known as 'the Walrus of Love', and for good reason, due to his impressive size and unmistakable bass-baritone vocal delivery, R'n'B /soul singer and producer Barry White first caught my ear during my soul boy days with his 'Under the Influence of...' by female trio Love Unlimited. Released the year before Can't Get Enough, it was written and produced by Mr. White and came complete with a 40 piece orchestral group, The Love Unlimited Orchestra. These were the basic elements of the Walrus of Love's signature sound, which, along with some rather snazzy stage outfits, would see him rule the seventies."
