Each week Don selects a crucial album from his collection. He explains why it means so much to him and features three key tracks. This week it's the 1989 debut album from the Stone Roses.

Don says, "Now I'm old enough to know the references that made this the daddy of the Madchester sounds, but that only added to its appeal to me. The vocal delivery, lyrical content, melodies and production were right up my street - and then there was John Squire's undeniably brilliant guitar work! This record was instrumental in reviving British guitar music and would go on receiving accolades to this very day.".
