Each week Don selects a favourite album from his collection. He explains why it means so much to him and features three key tracks. This week it's Qareeb, released by Najma in 1989.

Dons says, "I can't remember how I discovered this British singer of Asian descent, but I think it was listening to the late great Charlie Gillet's World of Music on the 大象传媒. Anyway, from the moment I first heard her voice, I was mesmerised. The songs on this album are known as 'ghazals' and the combination of her unique voice and the sublime Indian instrumentation makes for and absolutely blissful listen.
