Gorillas in the rain
Two-and-a-half miles up in Africa鈥檚 Virunga Mountains, the weather is mostly miserable and it rains frequently. For sun lovers, this wouldn't rate high as a holiday destination. There鈥檚 simply no point looking for shelter, so it's a good job the gorillas that live here have fur that's thick enough to keep them warm, even when wet. But without this rain the gorillas wouldn鈥檛 have food in such abundance, and there would be no grass on the plains below.
