It is late afternoon on Jonathan and Randall's elephant safari, and the air is starting to cool. This is often the best time to look for the more elusive animals, particularly the big cats. Just at the base of a tree they spot a female cheetah and two cubs. It is a rare sight at this time of year but one of the baby elephants - Shirane - charges the cheetahs, trumpeting excitedly, and spoiling the chase. She doesn't realise that baby cheetahs are more frightened of her than she is of them.
