It's National Breastfeeding Awareness Week, an opportunity that is used to promote the message that breast is best. There's no doubt about the benefits of breastfeeding, something that new mums are encouraged to do. But not all new mums do breastfeed; many take a decision not to, or realise shortly after the birth that it's not something that works for them.
