The Great British Story: A People's History The Great British Story at the Riverside Museum and the Tall Ship Glenlee, Glasgow
The Great British Story joined forces with the Riverside Museum and the Tall Ship Glenlee on Saturday, June 9th and welcomed more than 4,000 visitors through the doors (or aboard the ship) for a step back in time. ‘A Question of History’ was another roaring success thanks to our special host – ´óÏó´«Ã½ Radio Scotland’s Kaye Adams - and a panel of top Scottish historians including Professor Dauvit Broun and place names expert Dr Simon Taylor, both from the University of Glasgow, and Robin Baillie from the National Galleries of Scotland. An army of Great British Story partners were spread all over the museum offering tips on everything from artefacts to archaeology. Visitors also climbed aboard the majestic Tall Ship Glenlee for more help researching their local and family history. Thanks to everyone who contributed to a great day out in Glasgow.
