Temple Godman was a young cavalry officer in the 5th Dragoon Guards during the Crimean War. Over the course of his two year campaign he regularly sent letters home to his family at Park Hatch in Surrey. His letters give a fascinating glimpse into life on the frontline in the Crimea.
