Peter Brears and Lucy Worsley discussing puddings from Food in England
Dorothy Hartley's interest in food began in childhood. Her father's position as a headmaster placed them at the centre of middle class society and Dorothy later recalled the regal style of some of their family dinner parties. It's a world that historian Peter Brears has researched extensively. Lucy Worsley meets with him to discuss and sample some of the puddings featured in Dorothy's book.
