Changing landscapes - weather and tourism
Weather is constantly altering the shape and appearance of Snowdon. Water and ice crack the rock face and break it up to form scree in a process known as weathering. Tourists also erode the landscape and they have to use mountain paths to prevent them damaging the slopes.
