Seeing the bacteria carried on hands
This clip explores how much bacteria we have on the palms of our hands. The use of a special plate shows how they multiply every twenty minutes. Fortunately most bacteria dies, heat kills them and cold stops them multiplying. We wash our hands because some bacteria can make us very ill and clean hands ensures less on our food and in our stomachs.
