The story of Odette's first meeting with the prince in the ballet 'Swan Lake', choreographed by Marius Petipa and Lev Ivanov, is introduced. Darcey Bussell demonstrates how mime is used by Odette to tell part of the story. A short extract from the ballet performance shows how costume, stage, set, movement and music combine to tell the story.
