Mum on why she took her children out of school to go Australia

Janice Skelcher took her children to Australia meaning they missed 12 days of school. Coventry City Council fined her and her husband but they ended up in court after refusing to pay. The couple received conditional discharges and were ordered to pay the council's four hundred pound court costs.
