Scottish referendum: How will further devolution affect Trident?
The three main party leaders from Westminster have pledged further powers to Scotland in the event of a NO vote in the Scottish referendum.
During Clare McDonnell's programme, 5 live's chief political correspondent, John Pienaar answered listeners' questions including: Devolution, will it get rid of Trident in Scotland?
"It's an issue for NATO, there are questions about NATO membership not resolved..Scotland would like to continue to be part of the NATO alliance" In the event of a NO vote in which Westminster has pledged further devloved powers for Scotland Trident would " still subject to the defence policy of the UK government".
