Michael Essien on having to deny he had Ebola
The AC Milan and former Chelsea midfielder Michael Essien describes having to deny rumours that he had contracted Ebola.
In October, Essien was left out of the Ghana squad for an African Cup of Nations qualifier in Guinea, which prompted internet rumours he had contracted the virus.
Essien was inspired to start the Health Africa International #UnitedAgstEbola campaign following the hoax.
The full interview with Michael Essien will be broadcast during 5 live sport on Sunday 14 December 2014.
