Phil Brown: 'Allardyce is as good as Wenger, if not better'

Sam Allardyce is "as good as Arsene Wenger, if not better", according to Phil Brown, who worked with the 60-year-old at Bolton.

He was speaking after the West Ham manager Allardyce said there was "no coach more sophisticated" than himself in the Premier League.

Brown also said Allardyce was a "statistical genius."
