Froch v Golovkin potential fight 'gets bigger every day' says Hearn
Boxing promoter Eddie Hearn says negotiations for a potential bout between Carl Froch and Gennady Golovkin are under way, but it will be down to Froch himself to decide whether he wants to fight again
Froch was recently stripped of his WBA super-middleweight belt and was thought to be considering ending his career, but Hearn has confirmed initial talks with Golovkin's representatives have taken place.
"Were talking. It's a fight that gets bigger every day, and gets bigger every time Gennady Golovkin steps into the ring, and there comes a time when the fight is too big to ignore," said Hearn.
"It really comes down to his (Froch's) desire to fight again. If he fights again, then Golovkin is a very strong possibility."
