Ogogo: DeGale title fight will be a 50/50 battle

Former Olympic boxer Anthony Ogogo says he hopes James DeGale wins his title fight, but wouldn't be surprised if Andre Dirrell "nicked it on points".

DeGale and Dirrell fight in Boston, Massachussetts on Saturday for the vacant IBF super-middleweight title. If DeGale wins he will make history by becoming the first British Olympic gold medallist to win a world title. Ogogo told 5 live it's a '50/50 fight' as the pair are so evenly matched.

"I hope he wins but I wouldn't be surprised at all if Dirrell nicked it on points. He's a very talented boxer and having the home advantage, I think that might just see him through. But hopefully I'm wrong. Fingers crossed James can pull it off and we can have another British world champion", he said.
