English 18-year-old qualifies for the US Open
Despite still being a teenager, Sam Horsfield has qualified for next week鈥檚 US Open, making him the youngest ever Englishman to do so.
Speaking to George Riley, the 18-year-old said 鈥渋t was a great feeling to qualify for the event鈥, and emphasised that despite qualifying for the tournament, he is just a normal kid:
鈥淚 go to the park three or four times a week, play basketball and go to the movies. I鈥檓 just a normal kid that happens to play golf", he said.
