Graeme Swann backs Ali over Rashid for Ashes
Former England spinner Graeme Swann has backed Worcestershire's Moeen Ali for the Ashes, over Yorkshire鈥檚 Adil Rashid.
Swann said although Rashid (pictured, right) had 鈥渂owled well鈥 in one-day matches, he was 鈥渘ot 100 percent sure鈥 he could be as successful as Ali (pictured, left) in Test cricket.
Former English first-class cricketer Chris Adams disagreed, claiming Ali was a "wonderful cricketer鈥 but would 鈥渁lways be a number two spinner鈥.
鈥淚f England are to develop and take their game forward, then it鈥檚 an absolute must to keep Rashid in the side now and give him a go from the very first test,鈥 Adams said.
