Former Test cricketer Mark Butcher admits his comment suggesting The Ashes should be watched "from behind the sofa" was wrong.

The words reached England captain Alastair Cook ahead of the competition and said it motivated his side, who currently lead the series 3-1, having already regained the urn.

Speaking to George Riley and Phil Tufnell, Butcher said his prediction was "totally wrong, but vaguely memorable".
