Kevin De Bruyne's agent Patrick De Kotter has spoken about how impressed they both were with Manchester City during their £55 million pursuit of De Bruyne.

De Kotter admits De Bruyne was extremely impressed by Manchester City's offerings.

"When we met the manager two days ago Kevin was really, really impressed with the project, the people and everything around City - it is really fantastic," De Kotter told Kelly Cates.

"Manchester City is one of the biggest teams in the world. If you hear from the manager saying you are the player we want, you can only be happy."

De Kotter also admitted Manchester City were not the only team who wanted to secure the Belgian international's signature.

"It took a little bit of time because Paris St-Germain were always wanting to make a move, but Kevin's decision had already been made."
