French 'gratitude' for England's solidarity
A journalist who was at the Stade de France on Friday has told 5 live the French people will 鈥渇eel a real gratitude for a really long time鈥 after their match with England at Wembley Stadium.
Vincent Duluc, who is a French football journalist for L鈥橢quipe, was at the Stade de France when three suicide bombers tried to enter the stadium.
Tonight, Mr Duluc is at Wembley Stadium, which is lit up with the French flag and where England supporters will sing la Marseillaise alongside the French supporters. Mr Duluc went on to say the French people 鈥渄on鈥檛 want to be afraid鈥 and that tonight鈥檚 match will give the nation 鈥渟ome warmth to the heart鈥.
France were playing an international friendly against Germany when three bombs went off outside the Stade de France during the Paris attacks on Friday.
