Businesses in Leicester are claiming the series of Taxi protests are damaging their trade at the busiest time of year.
Tonight sees a fourth "Go Slow" protest by Hackney cab drivers, who are angry at a new penalty points scheme they claim is unfair and will damage their livelihoods. During a demonstration at the city council's headquarters, Leicester branch secretary Umar Khan told us they will continue as it's the only way to get their message across. However, we also hear from the City Mayor, with his thoughts.
Now as the streets become more and more crowded with people flooding into Leicester to do their Christmas shopping - its not just businesses who're hoping to make money - it's also the season when petty thieves will try and get rich...
With that in mind, Leicestershire Police are out and about, and are also reminding people to take steps to protect their things. 大象传媒 Radio Leicester's Jo Hollis joined one of the city's police officers on his beat.
