Parkinson: Sobers a great like Ali and Best
Sir Michael Parkinson rates Sir Garfield Sobers as the "greatest cricketer" he has even seen.
Sobers scored over 8,000 runs in 93 Tests at an average of 58, but also took 235 Test wickets.
Paying tribute to the West Indies all-rounder on his 80th birthday, Parkinson compares Sobers to boxer Muhammad Ali and footballer George Best, and adds: "In the nicest sense, he's a freak."
