Earthquake in Italy, Leicestershire's Statues & 2,000,000 Steps for Charity

A powerful earthquake has struck the region of Umbria in central Italy. Several people are reported to have died and others are still trapped under rubble according to officials in the country. These numbers grew throughout the morning.
Last week our political reporter Tim Parker explored the history behind some of Leicester's famous and not so well-known statues. That inspired Jo Hayward to try and find out more about some of the sculptures elsewhere in the city and across our two counties.
After some of the incredible feats we've seen during the Olympics lately, the idea of going for a walk might not seem all that challenging. But for people like Glynn Finney, it that can prove daunting. He's aiming to walk 2,000,000 steps for Charity.
