There are fears thousands of people in Leicester could be living with diabetes - without realising. It comes as a national charity warns that the epidemic of type-2 could bankrupt the NHS.
The authorities in France will begin to clear out the migrant camp in Calais known as "the Jungle" later. Several thousand people have been living there while attempting to cross the Channel to the UK. Some have come from as far away as Africa and Afghanistan.
A documentary is telling the story of how Leicester's earliest Black migrants created the city's thriving Caribbean Community. "The Windrush Project" was on last night at the Phoenix theatre as part of Black history month. Kevin Ncube, has been to find out more.
