Could this be the future Houses of Parliament?

A glass dome on the River Thames has been suggested as a temporary home for the Houses of Parliament when it closes for major refurbishment.

Last month a committee said all MPs and peers should vacate both Houses of Parliament for six years for urgent repairs.

Duncan Swinhoe from the design company Gensler, told ´óÏó´«Ã½ Radio 5 live's Adrian Chiles, that their design which covers 8,600 square metres, 'would be able to hold all of Parliament under one roof'.
