UK's oldest water chute ride listed
The UK's oldest water chute ride has been added to Historic England's list of protected heritage sites.
The chute in Kettering was invented in 1926 by the philanthropist Charles Wicksteed.
It was a forerunner to many of the theme park rides now popular across the country.
