Bunce: Bell in fifth round saved Joshua's career
Steve Bunce says Anthony Joshua's boxing career was saved by the bell in the fifth round of his fight with Wladimir Klitschko.
Joshua produced the performance of his career to add the WBA world heavyweight title to his IBF crown with a knockout win over Wladimir Klitschko at Wembley.
Bunce said: "(Joshua) has punched himself out with about a minute and twenty to go and Anthony Joshua’s career and Anthony Joshua’s everything and boxing’s future was saved by the bell.
"He had nothing left. He stumbled back to his corner and I looked at Ritchie and I looked at Ron and I drew a finger under my throat because I thought it was all over."
Joshua connected with a huge uppercut in round 11 to end Klitschko's resistance meaning the Ukrainian suffered the fifth defeat of his career.
