Is Labour living in 'Utopian la-la land'
Stephen Nolan has challenged Shadow International Trade Secretary, Barry Gardiner's vision to protect British workers from being undercut by foreign labour.
Stephen asked if Labour would be powerless to interfere as long as workers were paid minimum wage, but Mr Gardiner cited the example of Germany, saying: "Workers and unions are on the boards of companies. They share in the responsibility of the company and they work together to ensure that there is a harmonious workforce, that's working for the profitability of the company and ensuring decent rates for the workers."
Stephen Nolan responded: "This is a Utopian la-la land, isn't it?"
