How to get your voice heard
Feeling inspired to do something about the state of the world, but not sure what? In honour of this month's Late Night Woman's Hour on Activism, we spoke to several women taking a stand for what they believe in, to find out their top tips for getting your voice heard.
They are FGM campaigner Nimko Ali, who stood in the last UK election; model Lily Cole, whose causes include plastic pollution and the Women's March; Harriet Evans and Paula Akpan, the founders of the I'm Tired Project using social media to challenge society; and US writer Angie Thomas, author of bestselling YA novel The Hate U Give, inspired by the Black Lives Matter movement.
