I will jump at altitude to experience ‘world record’ - Taylor
Triple jumper Christian Taylor says he will jump at altitude in an attempt to experience what it feels like to break Jonathan Edwards’ triple jump world record - even though it will not be official.
The Olympic champion won his third World Championships gold in London this week, but failed to beat Briton Edwards’ mark of 18.29m, which has stood since 1995.
American Taylor, 27, told ´óÏó´«Ã½ athletics presenter Sonja McLaughlan that trying to set a world record is the only reason he has not retired.
