The Split writer Abi Morgan on being on set whilst treatment for cancer
The 大象传媒 One drama series the Split is back, with the two-part special set in Barcelona.
In an interview with 5 Live鈥檚 Naga Munchetty, writer Abi Morgan reflected on her own personal journey dealing with loss and change.
Abi was undergoing treatment for breast cancer when the second series was filmed whilst her husband also recovered from complications with his MS.
The BAFTA and Emmy award winning screenwriter shared how supportive her team was throughout it all.
鈥淚t was really kind of weirdly meta to have to go on set when I felt so vulnerable with no hair, with everything falling apart and having this team kind of reassure you and manifest what you鈥檝e written and literally bring it to life and go: 鈥淜eep going.鈥
鈥淭hat was an amazing thing for me.鈥
