Christmas music could be damaging workers’ mental health
A campaigner for more silence in public places has told ´óÏó´«Ã½ 5 live that non-stop Christmas music could be damaging shop workers mental health.
A warning by psychologists has prompted Marks & Spencer to ban festive songs, while Asda is introducing a daily Christmas music-free hour.
Speaking to Adrian Chiles, Nigel Rodgers, who founded Pipedown, explained why retailers should listen to workers’ concerns.
