Journey of a jumper
Adrian Goldberg follows the journey of a jumper which he donated in a clothing charity bank belonging to Savanna Rags International.
Mohammed Patel from the charity takes us through the process from when you put the item in the bank, through the various stages of production, and tell us where it will probably end up.
The clothes recycling business costs around 拢75 million per year in the UK. 5 live Investigates has learnt that around 750 of these banks have gone missing in the last 12 months, denying charities vital income.
This clip is taken from 5 live Investigates on Sunday 18th March 2018.
