Team Sky boss Dave Brailsford has paid tribute to Tour de France winner Geraint Thomas, saying he's 'just a likeable guy...who never gets angry, never shouts...but has an assuredness around him...and wants to win.'

Brailsford also highlighted Chris Froome's role in Thomas' success, explaining the four times champion supported his junior team mate with 'such grace.' Thomas becomes the third Team Sky rider to win the Tour - Brailsford says it couldn't have happened to a nicer guy.
