A Dutch favourite now popular across Europe, the Stroopwafel is a sweet crunchy snack with a caramel syrup centre that melts deliciously when combined with a hot drink. The large thin biscuits are eaten at all times of the day, and are such an essential part of Dutch life that it鈥檚 said you have no free will when it comes to Stroopwafels, you simply have to eat them.
