Corrie’s Samia Longchambon: ‘How I deal with panic attacks’
Coronation Street’s Samia Longchambon has opened up about her experience of having panic attacks. The actor who plays Maria Connor in the soap, says she's been having them for around 20 years.
She told 5 Live’s Clare McDonnell she went to the doctors when she was 11 years old, but didn’t understand what it was she was going through.
Samia says the last couple of years have been “quite intense at times” and have led her to seeking different forms of therapy including CBT and ACT.
She also revealed that yoga has been the thing that's helped her the most.
