‘I don’t think I’ve ever put a letter on my fridge before’
Naga Munchetty said a letter from a young fan gives her “hope” when she is feeling battered by the news.
The ý presenter read the letter out loud as part of the Word Matters: Read Out Loud challenge from ý Radio 5 Live.
The station is asking people to record themselves reading out words which matter to them.
In the letter, which was sent to Naga at the height of the pandemic, the young girl writes that Naga is her “key-worker hero”.
“It just really touched me,” said Naga. “And I don’t think I’ve ever put a letter on my fridge before.”
