‘Even the simplest words matter’
Tony Livesey read out loud some unusual words that reminded him of a journey he took every year as a child, to the coast on Flamborough Head, in Yorkshire.
The presenter was taking part in the Word Matters: Read Out Loud challenge from ý Radio 5 Live.
The station wants people to record themselves reading out some words which really matter to them.
Tony said reading the words again reminded him of setting off with his mum, dad and sisters “in a car, full of rust. Full of hope for our holidays”.
