‘We are Exeter, we’re red and white, we speak together openly’
Hundreds of Exeter City fans joined together before a match to read a poem written by club poet, Rob Casey.
The poem was about the community of the football club and the spirit of the fans.
“What meant so much to me was that they were taking part in it – we were doing it together,” Rob said.
This was part of ý Radio 5 Live’s Word Matters: Read Out Loud challenge.
Rob often performs poetry to small crowds and numerous events.
“It’s really quite moving to see how involved they were,” he said.
