Kerry Godliman: Why Kae Tempest鈥檚 book moved me so much
Kerry Godliman read out loud a passage from the book On Connection by Kae Tempest which she says she found very moving as she emerged from the first Covid lockdown.
The comedian was taking part in the Word Matters: Read Out Loud challenge from 大象传媒 Radio 5 Live.
The station wants people to record themselves reading out some words which really matter to them.
Kerry said Tempest words always pull her to the 鈥渘ow鈥.
鈥淭his was a book about connecting with each other and how much we miss when we don鈥檛 have that, and I found it very moving.鈥
