Jackie Weaver reads out loud a poem which inspires her to ‘kick off those shoes’ from time to time.
“I am very much a conformist, and I too look forward to that time where, to use the authors words, I may yet wear purple,” she said.
Jackie became an internet sensation when a Zoom meeting of the Handforth parish council meeting, which she was overseeing, went viral.
The poem, ‘Warning’ explores what can be in store as people grow older and throw away restraints.
