Exclusive | Nazanin Zaghari-Ratcliffe: I was made to sign a false confession
Nazanin Zaghari-Ratcliffe has shared her story for the first time with Emma Barnett. It's a story she's wanted to tell in her own words for six long years.
In the exclusive interview, Nazanin Zaghari-Ratcliffe reveals for the very first time how she was made to sign a false confession in the presence of the British government.
The British-Iranian woman, who was freed from her six-year detention in Iran in March of this year, also explains how she survived solitary confinement, how the love of her daughter kept her alive, and what Prime Minster Boris Johnson told her about the real reason for her imprisonment.
Join Emma for the TV interview on ´óÏó´«Ã½ One at 8pm tonight (23 May). Emma’s full interview with Nazanin will air exclusively on ´óÏó´«Ã½ Radio 4’s Woman’s Hour on Tuesday 24 May at 10am and ´óÏó´«Ã½ Sounds. Join us there for a very special extended interview.
