The Nottingham based fourpiece, Catmilk, balance brooding folk with a careful hit of nostalgic 90s grunge. Alex Milne’s lyrics are scattered with thoughtful story-telling, exploring surreal dreamscapes tainted with the sharp grit of a city backdrop. Weaving delicate vocals around stirring melodies and meditative, rolling riffs, Catmilk’s arrangements are reminiscent of bands like Smog, Mazzy Star and Big Thief.
