Live music from First Time Flyers (Droitwich)

Lizzie Crow brings you the best acoustic, blues, soul, folk and country from Herefordshire & Worcestershire, including Droitwich's First Time Flyers, live in session at Lakefest!

Lizzie Crow brings you the best acoustic, blues, soul, folk and country from Herefordshire & Worcestershire, including

• Live music from a British country four piece - masterminded by Droitwich's Tim Prottey-Jones - taking the world by storm! They are First Time Flyers, from our stage at Lakefest. Their gig before that... British Summer Time at Hyde Park! In between The Chicks and Bruce Springsteen!

• Coverage of another festival packed weekend full of live music - including the biggest folk festival Herefordshire has to offer - which has been going since 1968 - creating a brand new pop up village next to Bromyard!

• And from the relative calm of the Bromyard Folk Festival to the madness of a nuclear wasteland - better known as the countryside around Stourport - for the return of the town's post apocalyptic V2A Festival!

• They're the psychedelic genre-bending four piece whose brand new album has just been released! From Kidderminster and Evesham - join us for an exclusive walkthrough of 'Vanity City', from Luke and Ryan of Late TV.

• In our music news - how the song for the King's Coronation - created by a Worcestershire primary school choir - and recorded at the legendary Old Smithy Studios - has been recognised by Buckingham Palace.
