Matthew, aged 15, lives in Cheshire and started playing drum kit when he was 10, later venturing into wider percussion under the direction of Mark Concar. He has enjoyed performing in venues across Europe, with numerous ensembles. Matthew also enjoys playing the piano and is a prize winning composer. He hopes to go into a professional career as a musician. Outside of music, his interests include reading and travelling.
