Emma Gladstone
Emma Gladstone works across the cultural and creative industries worldwide. Since the late 1990s she has developed innovative approaches to performance and research projects for artists and cultural organisations. Current partners include the 大象传媒, Big Pulse Dance Alliance (Creative Europe), and a global Mentor Prot茅g茅 programme.
From 2013–2021 Emma was Artistic Director & Chief Executive of London’s international festival Dance Umbrella, and previously worked as Artistic Programmer at Sadler’s Wells. Work as an advisor and speaker has taken her to Chile, India and Hong Kong.
Before programming Emma danced with Arlene Phillips, Lea Anderson’s The Cholmondeleys, and co-founded and directed Adventures in Motion Pictures. She holds an Honorary Degree from Trinity Laban, a Tonic Award for Outstanding Women in the Arts, and was awarded an OBE for Services to Dance in 2021. She is Chair of Siobhan Davies Studios, and a Trustee at Aesop and Dartington Trust.
