Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla
Abu and Sandeep are two of India’s most coveted fashion designers. Across their long careers, they have dressed countless international stars, from Posh Spice to Priyanka Chopra to Beyoncé.
The couple met in 1986 and opened their first boutique, Mata Hari, to great acclaim. They live and work together in a seafront home in Juhu, Mumbai’s answer to Beverly Hills.
They describe Mumbai as their ‘muse’ and are passionate about keeping India’s fashion standards high as the industry becomes increasingly democratised.
